Barrie Hill Farms was established in 1968 as a tobacco farm. It is now a second generation family farm growing over 200 acres of fruits and vegetables. We help you pick local food and keep Ontario green.
The success of Barrie Hill Farms over the years, is owed largely to its founders, Adrien & Evelyn Gervais. Their foresight, work ethic and dedication to family and farm created a business that the community chose to support. It is because of this loyal support of our customers and community, that the farm remains able to provide healthy fruits and vegetables to Barrie and area.
Their older son, Morris, and his family now operate the farm. They hope to be able to continue farming for many years to come, and perhaps a third generation will one day be able to grow fruits and veggies and care for the land.
